The Whacking Festival 4 to the Floor is a three-day event open to all dance enthusiasts, with a special invitation to queer BIPoC. The festival aims to raise awareness of Whacking as a form of expression in Germany while creating a safe space where participants can freely express themselves and their identities through dance.

Whacking, also known as Waacking, is a dance style that emerged in the 1970s in the gay clubs
of Los Angeles, evolving from the dance style Punking. It developed in an environment where queer people from Black, Latinx, and Asian communities sought refuge from various forms
of societal oppression, such as racism and queerphobia.
