For the past years i worked with Amnesty International Germany on the visualization
of their report, covering the status and isssues of humanity around the world.

At first we worked on a keyvisual that is closely connected to the NGO’s main logo.
We went for a more compact and square visual to adapt more easily in social media.
the rounded candle-badge gave it just enough twist to be recognized as something
new but also Amnesty related.

The team of Amnesty worked hard on finding and picking out topics from the report
that I could turn into illustrations or social media posts.

In 2022 we illustrated about 20 of these points to create infographics for instagram.
It was a combination of drawings of hands and graphics, colored in Amnesty’s CI colors.
We stuck to illustrated hands because they are so emotional and can tell a hole story –
meaning you can talk only using your hands.

In 2023 we focused on instagram carousels and created three of them.
they combined photos, illustrations and facts with a bit more text.
They process was nearly the same as the year before but with a more compact outcome.

Sadly since then the money was cut short but our work with Amnesty International Germany
is still active on design support for the press conference and some website updates.
